Wellington is one of the only capital cities in the world that has a World Health Organisation endorsed ranking as a “Safe Community” – a ranking which considers the personal safely of its residents and visitors.
Wellesley College is located in the seaside suburb of Days Bay on the eastern side of Wellington Harbour. Just a 25 minute commute by road or ferry from Wellington city, which is a vibrant city, with a thriving film industry and many museums, theaters and host to international and local sporting events. Wellington and surrounding cities all have a reliable public transport system with the compact central city comprising of many places of interest all within walking distance.
