We’re a boys school, so we let boys enjoy being boys. We encourage mud play, we organise wharf jumping, we send the boys to the bush and we plan challenges that we know they will thrive in.

We have robust travel policies and systems with 6 buses in our fleet that cover most of the Wellington region. There is also a ferry from the city. We find our boys love the independence of taking the bus – and spending more time with their friends!

Wellesley Boys leave as “can-do” kids with a strong sense of belonging, life-long friends, and completely prepared for secondary school.
