Enrolling at Wellesley

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your son(s) at Wellesley. We encourage whānau and friends to click here and view our virtual tour.

Now that we have grabbed your attention, we invite you to contact our Enrolments Registrar,  Amanda Barfoot
who will arrange a personal visit at a time that suits you.

For those of you wishing to request an application for enrolment, please complete the enquiry form at the bottom of this page.

Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year.

All applications require you to forward a copy of your son’s birth certificate, his most recent school report, the non-refundable application fee of $100.00 and, if applicable, evidence of your son’s New Zealand residency status.  These can be emailed to office@wellesley.school.nz

Once an application has been completed, your son will be placed on our waiting list.   In the year prior to your son’s preferred year of joining, you will be invited to meet with our Principal and take a tour of the school.  Following this, if spaces exist, you will be offered a confirmed place in writing. At this point, a confirmation fee becomes payable and both parents/guardians are required to complete and sign an enrolment data form.

Receipt of your application will be acknowledged via email.

 

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, the records made from any information submitted may be reviewed on request by you at the school; the information collected may be disclosed to education, health and other specified agencies in accordance with the principals of the Privacy Act; the information will not be disclosed to any other person or agency unless such disclosure is authorised or required by law, or if you specifically authorise the disclosure.
