The Wellesley College Foundation depends on the generosity of its wider school family, including Old Boys and friends. Support comes from donations directed to Wellesley College through a variety of fundraising programmes.
Because the Foundation has a charitable status, all donations made by New Zealanders are entitled to a rebate of 33 per cent up to the level of their taxable income. New Zealand companies are also entitled to a tax deduction for donations, limited only by the amount of the company’s net income.
Foundation Brick
The Foundation Bricks are located in the beautiful Inner Quad. When you make a donation to the school, you can have one of these bricks engraved as you choose.
The donations raised are used to ensure the future longevity of Wellesley College is secure. Monies are invested into The Wellesley College Foundation and are used to facilitate the current strategic direction of the College.
We encourage everyone who has had an association with the school to consider investing in a Foundation Brick, to establish a permanent link between the school and yourself, your son, your family or your organisation.
Seen every day by the boys, staff, families and visitors to the school, these bricks form part of the schools’ heritage and the support received that has assisted Wellesley’s growth and development.
