Wellesley College Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement sets out Wellesley College’s practices relating to the collection, use and correction of information obtained from you when you visit our website. In relation to personal information, those practices are governed by The Privacy Act 1993. Personal information means information about an identifiable individual.

When you visit our website you may provide us with two types of information:

Personal Information

The personal information collected will be used by Wellesley College (which includes its staff and Board of Trustees) to respond to your enquiries, to maintain school records of past, present and future students, to remain in contact with you and to administer and promote the School in various ways. It may also be disclosed to the Wellesley Foundation and to the Wellesley College Parents Association for the same or similar purposes.

Website Use Information
When you visit the website, our website server will record and log your browser and operating system type, your server and IP address, the date and time of your visit to the site, the pages you accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the username entered if accessing a restricted area.
We use this information for statistical purposes and for system administration tasks to maintain the website.
Wellesley College may share overall statistics about users, site use, demand for relevant services and traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third parties for benchmarking purposes. These statistics will not include any information which personally identifies you.
