Enrolling your son at Wellesley College is easy:
- Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year. Our main years of intake are Years 1, 4 and 7, but vacancies do become available at other year levels. We recommend you place your son on the waiting list to ensure you are contacted accordingly.
- Complete the Application Form in the Prospectus pack, or download one here or simply ‘apply online’. All applications require you to forward a copy of your son’s birth certificate, his most recent school report, the application fee and, if applicable, evidence of your son’s New Zealand residency status.
- Applications are reviewed by the Principal and, if acceptable, your son is then placed on the waiting list.
- The school will contact you about upcoming Open Days and send you our annual publication, At the Bay.
- In the year preceding your son’s proposed entry to Wellesley, the school will make contact with you. Where there is a vacancy, applicants are asked to meet with the Principal before being offered a place.
- The Principal will make any offer of a place for your son at the school in writing. Both parents/guardians must give written acceptance, including completing the enrolment form and paying the enrolment fee.
Once your son is enrolled at Wellesley College:
- A family Database Check Form is sent out annually.
- A statement/invoice is sent out monthly on accounts owing, with tuition fees billed at the start of each term.
All queries about enrolment should be directed to the Principal’s PA.
